Power plant facilities
- One horizontal axis Francis-type turbine, manufactured in 2003 and designed for an equipped volume of flow of 5 m3/s and a net head of 203 metres
- The electricity generator has an apparent power of 11,100 KVA. It has a power factor of 0.9, which provides active power of 9,800 KW. The working voltage is 6 KV
- The Nuevo Pindo plant does not have a transformer because the electricity produced is transmitted through the substation of Castrelo plant, situated next to the Nuevo Pindo plant. The electricity generated by the two plants is transmitted jointly from this substation to the Santa Uxia substation, through a 66 KV line
