History of Arias II
Arias II plant administrative concession was first granted in 1915. For many years the maximum flow was of 10 m3/s, but since 1979 that maximum flow volume is 40 m3/s.
The plant still houses a 700 KVA Alternator and turbine, manufactured in 1905. It is out of service but is being kept for reasons of historical interest.
